King County polling is open Tuesday, November 4, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

If you are over the age of 18 and registered to vote (you should be) it’s time to vote. If you participated in absentee ballots or early voting you’re off the hook.

For the rest of you make sure you know the measures you are voting on. Including the big Prop 1 debate.

Get to know your list of candidates too.

Then locate the polling place closest to your home and head there to vote. Remember your single vote can make history happen on either side of the ballot this election. Don’t let it go to waste.

Already voted? Then head to your local Starbucks. The Seattle coffee giant is offering free tall brewed coffee to everyone today. Since election laws say you can't award voters for voting, Starbucks will award anyone who wants coffee today with a free cup of joe. Krispy Kreme is giving out free star-shaped doughnuts, and Ben & Jerry's ice cream is doling out one free scoop to those that want one. All in celebration of Election Day.
