Mt. Baker is a very popular mountain for skiers and boarders. In 1998-1999 the mountain had World Record snowfall of 1,140 in. (2,896 cm).

Directions to Mt. Baker from Seattle: Head north on I-5 toward Bellingham. Take Exit 255 (Sunset/Mt. Baker Exit) off I-5 and head east on HWY 542 (Mt. Baker Highway) for 56 miles until you reach the Mt. Baker ski area.
