Discover Music! concerts at Benoroya Hall are for children ages 5-12 and their families to enjoy a lively and illustrative performance that explores instruments of orchestra.

On January 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., Carolyn Kuan will lead the Seattle Symphony in Benjamin Britten's The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra. It will feature local young actor Weston Gaylord as the narrator. And Seattle Symphony Resident Organist Joseph Adam will perform Charles-Marie Widor's Toccata from Symphony No. 5 in F major.

Other music you will hear: Works by J.S. Bach and Saint-Saëns.
