The 5th Avenue Theatre is featuring an artist's masterpiece with their new Broadway show: Sunday in the Park with George. Seattle is only one of three cities (London and New York were the other two) that are getting the chance to view this exquisite work.

The show is based in 1884 Paris and influenced by the paintings of Georges Seurat. It's a Pulitzer-prize winning musical and love story by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine. It explores what it takes to create a masterpiece and what it costs to love an artist.

The set is gorgeous and all done by impressive computer technology. The actors and actresses truly perform without seeing a set around them. They memorize their marks to know where to stand in each act. The theme will take you back in time when life was much simplier. You too can catch the show through May 10 and see for yourself how beautiful it is.

Tickets to Sunday in the Park with George range from $22-$91.

Tickets are available over the phone by calling 206-625-1900 / toll-free 888-5TH-4TIX (584-4849), by ordering online at The 5th Avenue Theatre or in person at the box office at 1308 5th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101.
