Starting December 19, 2012, Zipcar won't be the only car sharing network in Seattle. Car2Go is bringing a fleet of 330 Smart Fortwo cars to town!
Car2Go cars are available all day, every day in locations all around Seattle's Home Area. An especially cool facet of this short term car rental company is that renters don't need to go to a specific lot. Rather, cars can be picked up from just about anywhere, and dropped off just about anywhere, as long as it's within the Home Area. Insurance, gas and parking fees are all included in the rate you pay, which can be by the minute, the hour or the day. Additionally, renters can make a reservations--or not. To find a car or make reservations, you can use a phone app, Car2Go.com or call the company. Just sign up for membership and you can use the service as much or as little as you'd like. Car2Go is all about convenience.
