Seattle Earth Day 2013

Earth Day and Seattle are like two peas in a pod. Most Seattle residents are already kind to the environment anyway, after all.

Earth Day is also a great day for events of all types. Seattle Center usually puts on a large festival, but isn't the only Earth Day festival in the area. Newcastle also has one, and the Tacoma Nature Center has a smaller, especially kid-friendly one, too.

Other events range from 5K races and fun runs to auctions where you can bid on outdoorsy trips and items.
