The Book of Mormon is one of the funniest musicals to hit the stage ever! The soundtrack is bouncy and guaranteed to make you smile...and then you'll realize what the people on stage are saying. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone (South Park) and Robert Lopez (Avenue Q) made sure this performance is chocked full of hilarious shock.
The Book of Mormon is so funny and so unique that it just about sold out its January 8-20 run at Seattle's Paramount Theatre. There are still some seats left, but many of them are in the upper price ranges.
But what to do if you really, really want to go to the show and can't afford a $150 seat? Consider entering the pre-show lottery.
Starting 2.5 hours before each show, you can go to the Paramount Theatre box office at 911 Pine Street, Seattle. To enter the lottery, you'll fill out a card at the box office with your name and whether you want 1 or 2 tickets. Two hours before curtain, the box office will randomly draw 20 names. These tickets will cost just $25 each! Each person can enter only once and you must have ID to actually pick up the tickets.
