The week of Feb. 3 is chocked full of eventy goodness in both Seattle and Tacoma! Enjoy a show for the whole family, an opera, a ballet or a concert. It's also worth looking ahead to next week. If you want to book a night out with your sweetie, there are many events to choose from, or make a reservation at your favorite restaurant. But even if you're single or just not into the whole Valentine's Day thing, the list of Valentine's Day events is worth checking out.

February 4:

February 5:

  • Suzanne Vega at 7:30 p.m. at Benaroya Hall
  • Fun at 7:30 p.m. at Paramount Theatre

February 7:

  • Soundgarden at 8 p.m. at Paramount Theatre (and Feb. 8)
  • The Music Man at 5th Avenue Theatre opens and goes into March

February 8:

  • Ra Ra Riot at 7 p.m. at Neptune Theatre
  • Ed Asner as FDR at 7:30 p.m. at Pantages Theatre, Tacoma
  • Keith Sweat at 8:30 p.m. at Emerald Queen I-5 Showroom
  • La Tragedie de Carmen at Rialto Theatre, Tacoma (also Feb. 10)
