Seattle National Parks Free Days

Mount Rainier National ParkSome national parks in Western Washington are always free to enter. Others, like Mt. Rainier, have an admission fee most days. While fees are reasonable, there are days throughout the year when everyone can enter all national parks for free! Free! Nationwide!

But more importantly, free for us Seattlites at our local national parks, historic areas, sites and reserves. These include Mt. Rainier National Park, Olympic National Park, North Cascades National Park and San Juan Island National Park.

Free national park days for 2013 are:

  • January 21
  • April 22-26
  • August 25
  • September 28
  • November 9-11
