Kristin Kendle moved to Seattle-Tacoma area in 1997 and has lived there ever since. She loves the eclectic diversity of the Pacific Northwest and its wide array of things to do and see. She is especially a fan of the local arts scene, from Tacoma Art Museum to the 5th Avenue Theatre and everything in between, and the many great places to hike in Western Washington.
Experience:
Kristin has been the About.com Seattle Guide since October 2011. She is an avid writer of both fiction and nonfiction, and has written for other local publications, including South Sound Magazine, Weekly Volcano in Tacoma, and Olympia Power and Light in Olympia, Washington.
Education:
Kristin graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma with a Bachelor of Arts in English/Writing and minor in publishing and printing arts.
