From Kristin Kendle:
While Tacoma is often the butt of jokes (Tacoma aroma, anyone?), after living here for 14 years, I have nothing but fondness for this little city by the Sound. I love the glittering downtown area with its funky space-pod Museum of Glass and towering Bridge of Glass; the Waterfront with restaurants poised right on the shore and walkway where you can occasionally spot sea lions swimming beside you; and the mix of cultures that intermingle much like they do in the entire Puget Sound region. Even though I have traveled all around the world, something about Tacoma has captured my heart and encourages me to stay year after year.
