The American Idol Top 12 for Season Six includes three from the
Seattle American Idol auditions, and two of the Top 12 are from the greater Seattle area. Washington and Florida are the only states that have two contestants in the American Idol Top 12, and Seattle is the only metro area with more than one.
The Memphis auditions managed to produce four of the Top 12, while the much maligned
Seattle auditions produced three of the Top 12. Of the other five American Idol audition cities, only New York produced more than one of the Top 12 with two. Birmingham, San Antonio, and Los Angeles all supplied one member of the American Idol Top 12, while Minneapolis gave us zero (and only one in the Top 24.
