Lunar New Year (LNY) 2007 and the Year of the Pig are upon us. Seattles Lunar New Year Celebration 2007, organized by Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area (CIDBIA), will take place at the Union Station Great Hall on February 17th.

Lunar New Year 2007 Festivities in Seattle:
CIDBIA will put on Lunar New Year Celebration 2007 with first-class multicultural entertainment on the main stage including lively Lion and Dragon dances, rhythmical Japanese taiko drumming, colorful traditional Korean dance performances and more. The Great Hall will be filled with many booths featuring unique Asian-inspired arts & crafts, local businesses, and community organizations. Admission is free.

Lunar New Year at Wing Luke Asian Museum:
Seattles Wing Luke Asian Museum (4 blocks east on Jackson from Lunar New Year Celebration 2007) will celebrate Lunar New Year at the museum and kick-off our first free Family Day at the Wing! on February 17th from 1pm to 3pm. Wing Luke Asian Museum is a Friends of the Celebration sponsor for Lunar New Year Celebration 2007, and will have a booth at the LNY celebration as well.
