The Night Watcher

Seattle Weekly’s REVERBfest Ballard
Local music festival in Ballard with 60+ bands/DJs/acts will take over Ballard on Leary, Ballard Ave. and more! All ages venue $5, $7 at event; 21+ (all venues) $8 advance, $10 at event. 3 p.m.-1 a.m.
October 5
CroatiaFest
An all-day festival of Croatian art, music, customs—and food, of course—that's part of Seattle Center’s Festál series. Rare delicacies include sarma (meat-stuffed cabbage rolls) and kranjska kobasica s ajvarom (spicy Croatian sausage with red-pepper relish), while better-known treats include lamb kabobs, baklava, and Croatian beer. With a concert by the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra and chorale performances, as well as folk dancing lessons. All events are free, with food for sale. 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Splendors of the Baroque -Watjen Concert Organ Recital-Demonstration
S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium
Public recital-demonstrations of the 4,490-pipe Watjen Concert Organ on Mondays throughout the season in Benaroya Hall. Each recital-demonstration has a unique theme. Watjen Concert Organ recital-demonstrations take place at 12:30 p.m. and are part of the Benaroya Hall public tours which begin at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. on recital/demonstration days.

Liz Phair
