The Puyallup Spring Fair

The Puyallup Spring Fair much like the large and famous Puyallup Fair, but smaller. The Puyallup Spring Fair welcomes in the spring with baby animals, rides, fair food, and events. This fair takes place in April every year at the Puyallup Fairgrounds.

Puyallup Spring Fair Location
The Spring Fair is held in the same location as the Puyallup Fair, but with a few perks that its larger cousin does not feature, such as free parking and cheaper admission!

Address:
Puyallup Fair & Events Center

Puyallup Spring Fair Events
Fair Food: The Puyallup Fair is hugely popular for its scones, elephant ears, hamburgers, and other delicious treats, and the Spring Fair has them all.
Animal Exhibits: A popular tradition for many fair-goers is checking out the animal exhibits. The Spring Fair doesn’t have as large of a selection as the Fair, but especially highlights the new baby animals of spring.
Free Shows: The Spring Fair brings out all kinds of free entertainment. Some shows change year to year, but many come back, too. The Fiesta Mexicana is a unique event, involving horses dancing to Mexican music. Concerts, local performers, and special appearances by Dora the Explorer and other characters are also usually on tap. Animal shows like pig races are also common events.
Car and Truck Events: Slamfest Demo Derby and a Monster Truck Show are some of the most popular auto events at this fair, but may not be on every year. There is also often a car show on the premises with cars from the local LeMay Family car collection.
Rodeo: It wouldn’t be a fair without a rodeo and indeed the Puyallup Spring Fair has one! But in the tradition of the Spring Fair’s smaller size, this is a Junior Rodeo featuring young, brave cowboys and cowgirls.
Rides: Many of the popular Midway games and rides that show up at the Fair show up here as well. You can ride the rollercoaster, the Extreme Scream, or many others that will whirl you silly. There are also rides just for small children that are much gentler.

Puyallup Spring Fair Coupons and Deals
Many local grocery stores, banks, and other businesses will offer discount admission in the weeks before the fair starts. Once it starts, discounts aren’t usually available. You can find discounts and coupons for admission, ride tickets, and more on the event’s website, sometimes even after the fair has started.
