A Glimpse of China - Chinese Culture and Arts Festival
Nationally acclaimed artists from the Northwest and China will dance, play music and perform martial-arts at the Center House in Seattle Center and the event is free.

Juneteenth Freedom Festival and Parade
June 15 through 17
The Nationwide celebration of the ending of slavery features a parade at noon on June 16, from 25th Avenue and Alder; along with food and live entertainment, from noon-8 p.m. June 15, 16 and 17. Where: Pratt Park, 20th Avenue and Yesler Way, Seattle; free. 206-322-8296.
Fremont Fair and Solstice Parade
June 16 through 17
The free event starts with a Solstice Parade at noon on June 16 (route runs from Northwest 36th Street and Third Avenue Northwest to 35th and Fremont Avenue, south on Fremont, then east on 34th to Gas Works Park). The parade is followed by a picnic, pageant and live music at the park until sundown. There are also children's activity and arts and crafts, an Art Car Show and food booths. Woodland Park Zootunes

There are 13 concerts scheduled at the Woodland Park Zoo with the majority of the concerts happening on Wednesday's in June, July, and August. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Music starts at 6:00 p.m. and shows end at approximately 8:30 p.m. Order tickets
Washington Brewers Festival
June 19 through June 21
The Washington Brewers Festival fittingly falls on Father's Day weekend. Rain or shine it's hosted in Kenmore, WA. There are over 200 beers on tap with live music to compliment the atmosphere. The crowd is 21 and over on Friday. Then all ages are welcome Saturday and Sunday where you can enjoy food and games.
Greenwood Classic Car and Hot Rod Show
Come see hundreds of classic cars, hot rods and roadsters on display with music, crafts and food vendors. When: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Greenwood Avenue North from 72nd Street to 90th Street; 206-633-0422.
Bellevue Strawberry Festival
June 23 through 24

The Mountains to Sound Greenway along Interstate 90 features a 100-mile relay race from Snoqualmie Summit to Golden Gardens Park in Seattle. There is geoteaming and classic-car shows on June 24 in Issaquah and Cle Elum; a scavenger hunt and family-friendly treasure quest, Cowboy Rendezvous in Cle Elum, kids' fishing event June 23 on Mercer Island, kids' kite-building and -flying, nature walks, bike tune-ups at Meadowbrook Farm. June 27 through August 2, 2009
For a half century Seafair in Seattle has dazzled and delighted locals and visitors with an event steeped in tradition. Enjoy air shows featuring the Blue Angels, watch hydroplane races on Lake Washington, participate in arts & crafts or for sporty types enter the Seafair Triathlon. There is live music and parades throughout the almost month-long festivities.
Seattle Pride Festival
Over 200,000 people gather in Seattle for the annual Seattle Pride Fest over Pride Weekend. It is one of the largest LGBT events in the area and it's hosted at Seattle Center. The festival takes place immediately following the downtown parade on Sunday, June 28 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Then at Seattle Center enjoy local and national talent, beer gardens, DJs spinning and more.
Taste of Tacoma
June 29 through July 1

Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival
