The S.L.U.T. offers 1.3 mile streetcar trolley service to and from the lake to Westlake Center. Their slogan is "Ride the S.L.U.T."
The Seattle Monorail is housed in Westlake Center in downtown Seattle. The monorail's one mile track offers service to and from Westlake Center and Seattle Center (Space Needle, EMP, Key Arena, Pacific Science Center, Children's Museum, and more). Check to make sure monorail is running before going.
Sound Transit's Link Light Rail
Track testing is currently in place with plans for Sound Transit's Link Light Rail service to open sometime in 2009.
