In its four main galleries, there are 55 interactive exhibits and displays you can explore of Seattle's many connections to the sea. Exhibits include: Harborwatch, Sharing the Sound, Sustaining the Sea, and Ocean Trade. It also offers a contemporary perspective on commercial fishing, shipping, trade, transportation, and recreation.
Try loading and piloting a container ship, step into a replica modern naval bridge, take a virtual kayak tour, or pedal a full-size propeller and learn the physics behind propulsion. This comprehensive view of the regional economy and cultural and environmental treasures can teach you a thing or two.
