If you are new to the area or confused about changes to your neighborhood garbage days and times you can get updates on garbage collection in your area.

If inclement weather or another circumstance halts garbage collection in your neighborhood you can find out when it will start again by visiting the applicable Web sites below or calling your provider.

If you can't wait for your garbage schedule to get back on track you can dispose of your garbage in the Seattle area from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at:

  • 1350 N. 34th St. in the Fremont and Wallingford area
  • 8105 Fifth Ave. S. in South Seattle

Or Allied Waste customers can dispose of their garbage at the following locations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

  • Island Crest Park, 5500 Island Crest Way, Mercer Island
  • Beaver Lake Park, South 24th Street at 244th Avenue Southeast Sammamish
  • Medina Park, Northeast 12th Street and 82nd Avenue Northeast, Medina

Or Pierce County residents can dispose of garbage at the Solid Waste Managemnt / Tacoma Landfill from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. at:

  • 3510 S. Mullen St., Tacoma, WA 98409; (253) 593-7724.
