Guide Review - LePichet (French Cuisine)
If you've ever been to France then you'll appreciate the authentic nature of LePichet's dining atmosphere. The food is true French cuisine and the service is top notch. Most meals are very affordable and don't even think about eating there without a reservation. Tables are held only for those that planned ahead to reserve them, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Otherwise you can take your chances of finding an open seat at the cafe style bar if one is available. It's all about timing.
Whats good? You can't go wrong with any of the meat dishes. The Grilled Oregon Natural Beef Hanger Steak is very tender and the roasted grapes add a burst of flavor ($19). The pork special that they run from time to time literally melts in your mouth leaving a hint of brown sugar on your tastebuds ($19).
If you like to dine with live music check LePichet's event schedule before you go. They offer free music each month with no cover charge.
