Did you know that the first ever indoor rock climbing gym was founded in Seattle? Indoor rock climbing offers a new twist to working out: you can get in shape and have fun at the same time. The sport requires proper training and gyms are well-staffed to teach you the ropes.

Vertical World in Seattle, Redmond, Everett, & Bremerton

Seattle is home to the first ever indoor rock climbing gym. Vertical World started it all off in 1987 and has rock climbing gyms in Seattle, Bremerton, Redmond, and Everett.

Stone Gardens in Seattle

This rock climbing gym is located in Ballard and is very popular with hard-core boulderers and college students.

Edgeworks Climbing in Tacoma

Located in Tacoma, the indoor climbing gym offers programs for adults and kids as well as yoga and a climbing school.

Warehouse Rock Gym in Olympia

In the heart of downtown Olympia is this indoor gym dedicated to teaching the art of climbing.

Wild Walls in Spokane
