How? How? Why? Why? Why? at the Seattle Rep: Seattle Repertory Theatre presents NPR humorist Kevin Kling's brand new work, How? How? Why? Why? Why? directed by David Esbjornson. How? How? Why? Why? Why? plays in the Leo K. Theatre from March 13 through April 19, 2008 and explores the difference between the trip you plan and the trip you take in life.

How? How? Why? Why? Why?: Trauma can't be cured, but it can be healed, says Kevin Kling, and his method of healing is laughter. After a debilitating motorcycle accident in 2001, the playwright and performer of Home and Away and Lloyd's Prayer began to reimagine his life-and his work. Kevin, a regular NPR contributor, uses his great skill for riveting and hilarious storytelling to examine how tragedy can positively define a person's life-and a culture. You won't want to miss this touching and transcendent event.

Performance Details: Performances of How? How? Why? Why? Why? are at 7:30pm, Tuesday through Sunday with 2pm matinees on Saturdays and Sundays. There will be no performance on Thursday March 20. Post-play discussions will be held after performances on Sunday, March 30 at 2pm, Thursday, April 3 at 7:30pm and Sunday, April 6 at 2pm. There is an audio-described performance on Saturday, April 5 at 2pm and an American Sign Language (ASL)-interpreted performance on April 6 at 2pm.
