Spaahh, located on the basement floor of Hotel 1000, provides a refuge of relaxation for business travelers and urban warriors. Spaahh looks and feels like an upscale New York spa with a friendly Seattle staff.

Spaahh offers a full treatment menu including couples treatments and a special For Men section as well as a weekday happy hour menu from 11:30am to 2:30pm of abbreviated, discounted versions of their signature treatments.

Spaahh is located on the basement floor of Hotel 1000. Spaahh can be reached from the Hotel 1000 lobby by taking the elevator on your left (as you enter), but it is more relaxing to take the beautifully decorated staircase directed ahead.

Spaahh Specifics

Reservations:
Reservations can be made by phone or 24 hours at the Hotel 1000 front desk.

Arrival:
Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Tardiness may result in shortened treatment if the schedule is full. If you would like to relax in the sauna and relaxation room, then arrive about 30 minutes early.

Locker Rooms:
Spaahh has the standard locker room setup with separate areas for men and women. Each locker room has a sauna, shower, bathroom, and lockers with digital locks.

Spaahh is generating buzz around Seattle as an ultra high-end New York or Los Angeles type spa. However, the friendly, down-to-earth staff makes the experience distinctly Seattle – whether you are in for the Spaahh Bridal Package, a massage, a facial, or one of their popular abbreviated Happy Hour treatments.

Stressed-out urban warriors and out-of-town business travelers can briefly escape the busy city at this underground sanctuary. The dark wood and exquisite design make Spaahh an instant stress-reducer. Large locker rooms with dry saunas provide a prelude to relaxing treatments.

The manicure and pedicure rooms include the large flat-screen televisions found throughout Hotel 1000, while soothing single and couples aahh rooms exist for massage treatments.

The 1000 Hands of Relief massage I enjoyed provides 90 minutes of pure relaxation. My visit to Spaahh came a few days after my first personal training session in over a year, so many of my muscles were sore and tight. Amy was able to relax my body completely – being gentle in the places I needed and working hard on the areas that required it. Her occasional words of encouragement to relax caused me to slip into a semi-hypnotic state.

Spaahh is well on its way to earning a reputation as the best spa in downtown Seattle. The convenient location and lunch-time treatment menu only add to the appeal for the local crowd, and Hotel 1000 is the only downtown hotel to offer a spa of this caliber for out-of-towners.
