Free Bus to Husky Stadium

From Billy Watson, for About.com

Catch the free bus to Husky Stadium at the University of Washington for UW Football games. Free Buses to Husky Stadium are provided by King County Metro transit from eight area park and ride locations (details below). Avoid the parking headaches and traffic and catch the free bus to Husky Stadium from as far north as Shoreline and as far south as Federal Way and on the Eastside in Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond and Renton.

Buses to Husky Stadium begin boarding at the Park and Ride lots two hours prior to kickoff and leave every 20 minutes or when they are full. The buses typically run every five minutes and there are enough buses so everyone gets a seat. The last buses leave the park and ride 45 minutes before kickoff of the UW Football game from all locations except South Renton and Federal Way which both leave 60 minutes prior to kickoff. Kickoff time can be verified by calling 206-543-TIME.

Each of the eight locations has a color associated with that park and ride, so you can locate the correct bus to take after the UW Football game. All buses pickup and drop off right at Husky Stadium. Buses run non-stop from each park and ride location to Husky Stadium. Post game buses board at the drop-off locations with non-stop service back to the park and rides. The buses with green dash signs stop at the Kingsgate Park and Ride and then proceed to the Houghton Park and Ride.
